Exercise Classes

At Motus Health we know that activity is medicine.  To assist you in leading an active life many of our clinics offer exercise classes.  These classes can be used as part of a rehabilitation program, for injury prevention or as a general exercise class.  The classes offered include;

Pilates

A course of clinical Pilates taken by a qualified physiotherapist/Pilates instructor can be very beneficial as part of your rehabilitation or for injury prevention.  There are many benefits of Pilates, including:

  • Longer leaner muscles allowing for better flexibility
  • Improves postural problems and body awareness
  • Increases core strength and stability
  • Low-impact and therefore easy on the joints
  • Improves performance in sports, balance, coordination and circulation
  • Complements other forms of exercise
  • Helps prevent injury
  • Can be customised to the individual
