Tamiho Mitsuhashi

Tamiho enjoys working on complex challenging conditions and loves to help people.

About

Tamiho graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy 2017, having previously completed a physiotherapy course in Japan 2004, and has worked as a physiotherapist for 12 years. She became a licensed Bobath therapist in 2006. In 2012 She was awarded a scholarship that saw her travel to Denmark, Sweden, England, and Australia to learn about physiotherapy for spinal cord injuries. This experience led her to move to New Zealand to gain her physiotherapy degree and answer a calling to contribute to society, especially people with neuro-physical health issues.

Likes

I’m especially interested in ACL rehab and sports related injury, as well as neurological physiotherapy.

Living Active

Outside of work, I’m interested in teaching softball, and I enjoy skiing in winter, mountain biking and tramping in summer, digestive biscuits and NZ craft beer.
