Grant initially did a science degree at Otago University but soon realised the world of research was not for him, so he quickly followed up with a physiotherapy degree. A few years of working in Hawaii and the UK led him back to Christchurch and being self-employed in a small physio business within Les Mills. This ignited his passion for the business of physiotherapy and sowed the seed for disrupting the industry and doing things differently and so Motus was born. The philosophy of movement as medicine informs and guides the Motus team every step of the way. As well as helping patients achieve their goals through movement, Grant believes in helping his team move their careers forward with ongoing training and mentoring.
