James enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities. He has a particular interest in running and sport related injuries.
About
A born and bred Cantabrian, James initially studied Physical Education at the University of Otago, eventually completing his Masters in Biomechanics, before becoming a personal trainer travelling the world on cruise ships. It was during this time that he developed an interest for injuries to the lower limb and foot. James gave up life at sea to return to NZ to study podiatry to further this interest. I’m a New Zealand Masters representative hockey player which forms the basis for my strong interest in sports podiatry.

I have a strong interest in sports podiatry and injury management. I love the challenge of figuring out the hows and whys of injuries and I enjoy being part of a wider team and working with other health professionals to help achieve the best outcomes for our patients.
Living Active
