Nick is a very experienced Podiatrist with a keen interest in Biomechanics.
About
Growing up on Farm, Nick had always sprained my ankle and when he got to Boarding school it was so bad he could hardly play sport. Nick says ‘It sounds corny but a Podiatrist literally changed my life’. Nick was given orthotics and went from being the fat kids in class to a highly competitive rugby player, playing rep rugby and is now a keen runner, running many half marathons and even a few full marathons. Nick trained at CIT gaining his Podiatry degree and started Feet n Motion Podiatry in 1997. Nick has been a previous member of the Podiatry New Zealand Board and is currently and ambassador for Pod NZ along with being on their Clinical Governance group.
Likes
I love working with Athletes in the chosen sport to not only get them back on the field but aim for optimal performance and really enjoy helping people after surgery to get them back on their feet, whether it be finding the right shoe or working towards their goals.
Living Active
I have always got a running event in the calendar; it motivates me to get up and out of bed on those cold mornings.
